In business for 50 years
Starting 50 years ago in 1968 as a small worktop manufacturing company, located in a residential building on a three day week, Dunstable Laminates has grown from strength to strength. Bought by Martin Rix in 1994, Dunstable Laminates then ventured into commercial bespoke work for customers including:
- London Luton Airport
- The Armed Forces
- Luton and Dunstable Hospital
- Bedfordshire County Council
Creating airport security counters, school computer desks, shop counters, etc. saw the company exceed the limitations of the original premises. In July 2015 Dunstable Laminates relocated to a new purpose built building to continue the success of the company.
Opened officially by HM Lord Lieutenant of Bedfordshire on 2nd July 2015, we now look forward to what the future holds.
Always ensure a quality job
Our foreman/workshop manager oversees all aspects of the workshop. Fred has been in the trade since he was 15 years old and has been with us 14 years.
Andrew is our Operations Manager, managing the commercial side of Laminates. He also deals with unusually bespoke projects using his excellent skills on CAD. Andrew has been with us 18 years.
Peter is our very talented Laminator. He has been with us for 7 years.
Katie is our Sales Representative. She manages the laminates showroom meeting and greeting customers daily taking on small or large projects. Katie has been with us just over 3 years.
